bass fishing at night Super Awesome Tiny Creek MULTI-SPECIES Fishing Adventure!

There is a tiny creek that runs by my house it has a particular branch that has a lot of little pools in it. I scoped this spot out earlier in the week looking for some carp with some corn and realized I was using the wrong gear. I came back a few days later to the same creek and used nothing but a small jig rigged with a few different soft plastics.
The first soft plastic I used was an awesome bait I got in a trout mystery tackle box. ( #MTB, mysterytacklebox.com). Sorry quick plug. Anyway, that bait was called the Catch Co Hellgrammite here is the link:

This bait was awesome it’s the perfect color and size for almost any small creek this bait held up really well against a ton of fish. I just hopped this bait along the bottom of the creek bed with very small twitches of my rod, pausing it for a few seconds here and there. Just about every fish that saw it came and nibbled at. This bait was super effective at attracting all different species of fish. Honestly the only reason I switched over to another soft plastic was because I only brought two of these with me.

This bait had a slower fall rate regardless of the fact that I was using the same size jig head. I was also able to swim this bait through different columns of the water more effectively and keep it off the bottom using the same action I used to fish the Hellgramite.
To sum up the entire outing I really had an awesome time. I haven’t been back to this part of the creek in years and it’s amazing how much changed. Exploring new places and just being out in nature is such a wonderful gift. Catching a bunch of fish is also a major bonus. This is another long one Hope everyone enjoys!
